Happy Wellness Wednesday, everyone.
January was 40 months long and now we are in February — Black History Month, the month of love, and one smidge closer to that distant season called…what is it…Spring? Yes, Spring.
Today’s issue is for you if:
You want to know how to manifest properly.
You don’t know what the f*ck manifestation even is and are curious.
You’re bored waiting in line getting coffee and want to be educated on something.
Can you really turn your dreams into reality?
A lot of people talk about Woo like it’s a bad thing. I’m here to tell you it’s not.
Manifestation, if you don’t know, is “the process of aligning our energy with what we want.” Meditation extraordinaire Gabby Bernstein told Health Magazine:
“When we feel good, we attract more of what we desire.
When we focus on what isn’t working, we send out the message — both energetically and literally to the people and world around us — that we don’t really want what we think we want.”
Translation? You can’t expect a Range Rover to be delivered to your house tomorrow just because you want one. Manifestation = optimistic thinking and an action plan in order to work.
How to manifest what you want
Visualize what you want: (a better job, the confidence to leave a bad relationship, a hot ass body, etc.) and reflect on it every day.
Write it down: and read it every morning and evening so it sinks into your brain.
Create a visual cue that you will see all zee time: via a vision board or Pinterest board. Like psychiatrist Samantha Boardman says: “Visual cues can remind us of what we care about, but we have to make sure they don’t become background noise.” She advises to put your inspirational poster in a spot where you can’t help but notice it, like next to your bathroom mirror or on your nightstand.
Manifestation success stories
I have heard, from friends, authors, and celebs, very specific scenarios where manifesting has worked in their favor — including building the confidence they needed to stop drinking, starting their own coaching business, losing their baby weight, ending a toxic relationship, finding creative ways to make more money.
Takeaway
Ultimately, manifesting is leaning into a lifestyle that you want. Not your friends or your parents or anyone else in your circle of trust.
What you focus on you create more of, so focus on the good and the fabulous rather than the negative and the boring.
Like the old saying goes…Don’t knock it till you try it.
Do you believe in the power of manifestation?! I NEED TO KNOW. Email me back yes or no!
Keep being you. A more manifested you.
